The real Slim Shady just stood up, released a surprise album and murdered half the rap world. Eminem just made everyone’s Labor Day weekend a lot more awesome, as he dropped a new album called Kamikaze at midnight on Aug. 31. It’s his 10th studio album and the follow up to 2017’s Revival with zero warning. The 10 songs and 3 skits are pure fire and show that at 45-years-old Marshall Mathers still rules the rap game. Eminem seemed to agree that Revival wasn’t his best effort and wanted to show fans he’s still got the chops by tweeting “tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy,” along with his album art featuring the back of a fighter plane. Oh yes we are enjoying it Marshall!!!
He has assists from Joyner Lucas on the tune “Lucky You,” Royce da 5’9″ on “Not Alike and Jessie Reyez appears on two tracks, “Nice Guy” and “Good Guy.” While Revival had plenty of build up and promotion, Kamikaze dropped without any warning, hints or leaks that Em had an ENTIRE NEW STUDIO ALBUM that was coming for the world.
“All I know is I wrote every single word of everything I ever murdered, time to separate the sheep from GOATS!//And I got no faith in ya writers, I don’t believe I ghosts,” he raps on the album’s title track. He also disses new rappers like Lil Yachty Lil Xan and Lil Pump in the lead track “The Ringer.” “Lil Pump, Lil Xan imitate Lil Wayne. I should aim at every in the game, pick a name//The era that I’m from would pummel you, that’s whats it coming to. What you gonna do.” He adds, “I can see why people like Lil Yachty, but not me though.” SLAY!
Fans are losing their minds as this comes only eight months after Revival dropped. This is a guy who has been know to go YEARS without any new music and this comes so quickly after his last release. Revival was met with mixed reviews and had way too many cooks in the kitchen. He spent two years recording it, had countless producers and guest work from the likes of Beyonce and Ed Sheeran. In his own words, it doesn’t feel like he overthought Kamikaze the way he did with Revival. He just went into the studio, busted out some amazing freestyles and laid it all on the world by surprise.
Fans immediately lost their shizz on Twitter. One person wrote “He’s is ending everyone’s career.. doesn’t stop once to take a breath… THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING HIP HOP @Eminem,” while another added “This Eminem album is UNREASONABLY good.” One fan tweeted “This album is already better than Revival and I’m 2 songs in.” “Motherf**k Eminem is really back!! Idk if Revival exists anymore. This is whole different level!! There are levels to the levels!!! F**kin sick. Omf this slapssssssss,” another fan rejoiced.
Wendy Williams’ brash delivery when sharing her thoughts on hot-button topics serves as the bread and butter of her career. Even though her eponymous talk show is currently on hiatus, the gossip queen delivered that signature boldness in a recent interview where she firmly expressed that she does not owe anything to the Black community.
In a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Williams shared her thoughts on many crediting her for being a voice for the African-American community, given her long-standing and major platform. However, she made it abundantly clear that that’s not a responsibility that she wants to uphold.
“I feel a responsibility to [my 17-year-old son, Kevin Hunter Jr.], me, and my husband, who manages my career, our dog, and my family,” she said. “I didn’t ask to be a role model. I don’t like that responsibility. But if you see something in me that you really adore, thank you.”
Elsewhere in the interview, in the same vein, Williams shared why she chooses to keep her show’s topics light and refrains from discussing politics.
“I don’t want to share my opinion with you,” she said. “I don’t want to be a news anchor. I don’t like a lot of serious conversation — I guess I’m more of boots to the ground person. No, I don’t want to talk politics. I don’t care. I mean, I care — I have a Sunday morning standing appointment [watching] George Stephanopoulos on ABC. But that’s none of your business.”
Yes you heard it correct!
Tyga and Rob Kardashian come together against Blac Chyna. Tyga and Blac Chyna share custody King Cairo and Rob and Blac Chyna share Dream Kardashian. After watching the video of Blac Chyna fight at Six Flags on Easter Sunday, both fathers want safety and more custody of their kids.
Rob was worried after watching the viral video of Blac Chyna and discussed to his family legal advisor. Now, “Tyga is demanding changes for King’s safety after Chyna’s outburst. The latest drama brought Tyga and Rob closer together, and with the help of Kylie [Jenner, 20, Tyga’s ex], Tyga and Rob have been talking about how to best handle Blac’s out of control behavior,” a source close to the situaiton tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“Tyga is demanding Blac make changes for both King and Dream’s safety and he is looking for help from Rob. They are discussing how to handle things with their lawyers and what their legal options are since they are both in the same spot with Chyna,” the insider reveals.
“They want more custody or some other court ordered rules in place to insure that Dream and Cairo are never again in harm’s way. Tyga thinks Chyna’s latest actions are ridiculous and he wishes she could be a better role model.”
“Neither Tyga nor Rob have met her new boyfriend, YBN [Jay Almighty, 18],” who was present at the park on the day of the scuffle, which “worried” both fathers.
“Tyga fears what King might be learning from the rapper or what bad habits and foul language King might pick up by listening to him speak,” the source adds. “Rob and Tyga haven’t heard anything good about YBN and that scares them. They know nothing about this guy outside of the outrageous videos they see of him online.”
